back from a little trip. errands and such. sundries.

i found an aspect of the new vehicle that i do not like. perhaps i will get used to it. in my hyundai, beautiful little car, when i desire to merge left i tend to look over my left shoulder and thus see what's what. safety and that. in this new vehicle, when i look over my left shoulder i cannot see out of the car. i see headrest, i see the left rear corner panel thing between the windows. i have to use mirrors and mirrors alone. perhaps i can change the position of the seat (the seat is crazy adjustable; i don't know the half of it) and thus somehow afford myself a leftward rear view. we shall see.

otherwise, may i say, the car is the shit.

and! kara gave me the cd above for my birthday and i was listening to it in the car (along with neil young and the dixie chicks) and it is kicking my ass! in a good way. damn i like the sound. old pete seeger songs i remember from my youth, rendered in big messy fashion. some fine songs.
