yay! "ultraviolet" arrived from netflix today! ooh it's going to be so bad! i'm so excited!

plus it has fichtner in it, and i like him a whole bunch too. a fine, fine man ... though i don't know what he was thinking when he took this gig.

i'm telling you now, watching this movie (i hestitate to call it a "film") is going to, i expect, run the gamut between agony and ecstasy.

i'm a bit put off, though by the evident availability of an unrated version, while netflix sent me the pg-13 version. yeah, i'm not down with that. i know i'll want to see what they cut (or what they added). i do hope netflix is not following the wal-mart censorship path.

nevertheless, we'll view this monstrosity (starring milla as a futuristic vampire! with a sword! and abs!) this weekend sometime. possibly tonight, actually, but probably not. we'll see. ha!
