on spec

so my speculum shirt arrived today. i came across it online last week, actually in the course of my regular workday, when i was searching google for a brand name of a certain vaginal speculum a gynecologic surgeon mentioned in a dictation. and by chance in my search i came across this shirt, and on impulse i got me one. sometimes i do that, those impulse buys, and i probably shouldn't. but i like tee shirts, don't i? and i'm interested in surgical equipment, aren't i? well, it arrived today and now i'm a little skeptical about the whole thing. is it in bad taste or somehow awful to have a speculum on a tee shirt? opinions?

and i have to say that i still question male gynecologists, a little bit. it seems like a creepy thing for a man to do. were i a woman, i totally would never go to a male ob/gyn.

i'm going to the mall tomorrow, because i'm going to get the oil changed in my hyundai at the sears that's attached to the mall, and i think i'll wear the shirt. i wonder if i'll get looks or questions, or if anyone will notice. it's just the mall, just mall people, right, so who cares?
