not my favorite puppy habit

okay, so the dogs are eating the house. or, they're at least chewing on the floor. and i'm not sure how to stop this. they already have chew toys aplenty. we have bad-smelling stuff to spray on the places we don't want them to chew, and we use it. yet they continue to chew the floor. i broke down this morning and gave them a bona fide stick retrieved from the great outdoors; perhaps that will satisfy their wood craving. humph.

i got kara a nifty electric sander thing a couple of years ago, and now she's found a use for it. she might attempt to smooth the chewed areas over the weekend.
