congratulations go out to our own stevie jay for completing her first obediance-type class (aka household manners 1)! she was told (via kara) by those who matter that she showed marked improvement over the course of the 8 or so weeks and we're quite proud. she's not just pretty; she's smart and talented too! how about them apples? dagmar has a class or 2 yet to go, but he's doing well as well. kara has designs on further schooling for the pups, including perhaps some agility training. steve hops around a lot, boxing me and dagmar in, just like the herder she is.

now i'm going to make my lunch and eat my breakfast and go to work. it's tuesday.

oh and hey - it's my half-birthday today! i'm 36.5 today, i think. yeah, that's right. 36 years 6 months. astonishing. it's impressive to have reached such an age, and so quickly! i don't know where the time has gone.
